SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY - ADULT CHRIST LIGHT:  This Bible study looks at the same stories as the children will study in our congregation.  It is a great entry level study that looks at familiar portions of Bible history.  It meets in the church basement at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays.  Dennis Griepentrog will lead the class this year.

SUNDAY MORNING COMMONS BIBLE STUDY:  A Sunday morning Bible study that meets in the school commons at 8:00 a.m.  Pastor Ott leads this study.  "Go Be My Witnesses" is the title of our Bible study.  This ten lesson course from the book of Acts will motivate and equip us to share the Gospel with others.  God has told you to always be ready to give an answer for the hope that you have.  This class is the opportunity to get yourself ready!

SUNDAY EVENING BOOK STUDY:  The book we are discussing is One God - Two Covenants?.  This book is from the Bible Discovery series from NPH, the same series that published Bible Basics.  We meet Sundays at 7p.m. in the church basement.

MONDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY:  These studies meet Monday mornings at 7:00 a.m. in the church basement.  Pastor Ott leads this class.  There is a great deal of application to our daily lives in this study.  We are studying The Growth of the Church:  A Bible Study Based on Acts 1-12.

"Naomi Circle":  This is the name of the widows and friends group in our congregation.  This group is open to the widows of our congregation and any lady friend (widow or not) they would like to bring along.  The group provides a wonderful opportunity for Christian women to come together around God's Word, study and support one another.  A non-widow would certainly find this beneficial!  If you would like to join us but do not have a ride, please call Paula Ott (864-2348) for details and car pooling.  We will no meet in February.

Bread of Life for Women:  Our women's Bible Study, and it's just for women.  We have a lot of fun together and spend a great deal of time laughing.  Please come and spend some time with us.  After each study, we spend time in the school kitchen making a delicious meal for you to take home for you and your family.  If you have to leave after the study, we understand.  If you have something you would like to make, contact Paula Ott (864-2348).  We will not meet in February.

Youth Group Bible Study:  These studies take place in the school commons on Monday nights (except during the summer months) at 7:00 p.m.  These studies pertain to issues which concern today's teens from a Christian point of view.  All teens from 9th grade through 12th grade are invited to attend.  We usually have "Open Gym" following the Bible study for those who would like to enjoy some extra fellowship with kids their age.  Join us and bring a friend!  We are studying the writings of Solomon.  This month we will see what God had the wisest man who ever lived write about the meaning of life.

BIBLE HISTORY & CONFIRMATION CLASSES:  These classes are for our members in public school grades 1-5 and 6-8.  We meet in the school every Wednesday, 5:00-6:15 p.m.

New Life in Christ Class:  This is the name of a Bible Information class that covers the basic doctrines that we teach and believe.  If you are already a member, it is a great review of confirmation class.  It uses the same format that grades 6-8 use in confirmation class.  If you are not a member, this class introduces you to what we believe.  After completing the course, you are welcome to join the congregation if you also believe what we teach.  If you are interested this class, please talk to Pastor Ott.

SUNDAY SCHOOL:  If you have a child between the ages of 3 and 5, feel free to send them.  After worship each Sunday, we will meet for about 25 minutes in the Bible Classroom in the church basement.  We will read a short story from the Bible, sing songs of praise, and do an art activity.  Each of the children will have their own folder, which they should try to bring each week.  The children will also be singing in church a few Sundays.  Please watch your child's folder and the church bulletin for those dates.  Coming to Sunday School each week is an excellent opportunity to learn about the Savior, but we also encourage each family to sit down and review the stories with their child and do the coloring sheets and activities that are sent home with them each week.  If you want to sit in with your child to see what they are learning, please feel free.  We thank God for allowing us this opportunity to share his Word with the young believers of our congregation.

CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS/EASTER FOR KIDS:  These Vacation Bible School style events are for children ages 3 through those in the 6th grade.  We learn the Christmas story at Christmas for Kids and the story of Easter at Easter for Kids.  We sing songs, make crafts, and enjoy lunch together.  These are a great chance for parents to get other things done without the kids.  These events are also a great way to introduce unchurched people to Jesus.  Invite a friend or neighbor and join us!  Christmas for Kids will be held on Saturday, December 10, 9-11a.m.  There are signup sheets in the church basement for volunteers, donations, and for those planning to attend.
